If you’re unhappy with your life, comparing yourself to other people can turn you into a victim and them into a villain.
Instead of being jealous of others, look to them as guides or teachers. If someone has a lifestyle, talent or attribute that you want, figure out how to do that for yourself. It’s ok to feel jealous, but don’t let it settle into your heart because it breeds contempt and ugliness.
Giving into jealousy diminishes your personal power. You are giving up on yourself, and you are succumbing to low level vibrations, fear, unease, and dissatisfaction. Instead notice the jealousy, but reframe it to motivate you. Allow it to push you to power your own dreams.
And yes, I know life isn’t fair. It’s not. But we don’t see every part of people’s lives and even if everything looks rosy on the outside, we have no idea of what “The Beautiful” “The Rich” “The Famous” “The Lucky” people actually have to deal with. So don’t make them into the enemy when you can spend your energy on yourself. Make yourself happy, focus on you and what you can do to improve and grow into the kind of person you want to be.
Focus on the things you like about yourself and those things will expand. Develop the traits or talents other successful people have and that will help you to reach the next level.
